“In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (Mat 6:9-13 NKJ)
“If you decide for God, living a life of God-worship, it follows that you don’t fuss about what’s on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. And you count far more to him than birds. (Matt 6:25-29. MSG)
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. (Gen 1:1 NKJ) and the amazing thing is that the same God that created the heavens and the earth cares for your every need today, so stop worrying! When God led the children of Israel through the wilderness for forty years, every single day, God provided fresh manna. When they tried to store it, they found it perished.
What happens in the natural also applies to the spiritual. I’ve been preaching and teaching now for over thirty years, and I’ve lost count of how many sermons, devotionals or papers that I have written. Do I have folders and folders of old sermons—no! I believe that God has something fresh for the people I’m ministering to every time. To receive it we just need to ask the Father.
