Kingdom of Heaven is Like…….

Mind-Blown-Chris-Pratt

Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;  Matthew 13:24

Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, Matt 13:31

Another parable He spoke to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.” Matthew 13:33

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Matthew 13:44

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, Matthew 13:45

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, Matthew 13:47

Then He said to them, “Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.” Matthew 13:52

“Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. Matthew 18:23

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. Matthew 20:1

“The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, Matthew 22:2

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. Matthew 25:14

Eleven times in Matthew’s gospel Jesus tells us that the ‘kingdom of heaven is like,’ like what, well that’s the problem because eleven times he tells them something different.  The people were having problems understanding even one parable, let alone trying to comprehend eleven. Perhaps that’s what Jesus is trying to tell is, the ‘kingdom of heaven’ is incomprehensible.  If Jesus was to truly show you what the ‘kingdom of heaven’ is like, it would blow our minds.
